The Global BBA program in NUCB is devoted to developing future leaders, whose entrepreneurship will allow them to take on challenges and responsibilities in the everchanging business world. Therefore, the process of learning entrepreneurship involves the creation of a “Business Model”.
Contemporarily, as the Information Age, the definition of business became broader and more dynamic. Business model innovation can create greater competitive advantage compared to product and process innovation, which makes the learning of business model design more significant to a future businessperson.

Prof. Goi, one of the most passionate instructors at NUCB, has rich experience in management research on student-based venture creation in University, especially in Japan and the ASEAN region. He has collaborated with local community leaders and non-profit organizations to experiment with his model at several Japanese regional towns. Also, he is an innovator who brings cutting-edge technology or applications into the class -- students will have a chance to fly a drone if they can develop a well-organized business model and persuade the stakeholders who can determine to lend them the drone to fly or not.

It is a course that requires students to communicate a lot: with peers in the group, with local communities, and with incumbent entrepreneurs who have practical experiences. With discussions and opinions from several aspects, students will learn how to systematically think through problems; develop and test an innovative solution; assess risk, competition, and performance; and spread impact in a way that is financially sustainable and socially responsible.
Students will not only gain experience through the venture creation process, from idea creation to business model validation, but also obtain direct experience to interact and network with potential or incumbent entrepreneurs. In the end, they are able to achieve the four learning goals: Critical Thinking, Diversity Awareness, Ethical Decision Making, and Effective Communication, which shape them to become a more competitive talent.
